Hand stamped personalised Compass pet ID tag.
 
Room for your pets name  or perfect for those that don't want their dogs name on their tags. This is a custom hand made dog tag that is designed last. Each letter is stamped with a hammer using a technique called metal stamping. A great gift idea for a dog lover, keen dog walker or walking friend.

Size - 31mm x 35mm

Front - Pets name (7 characters max)
 
Reverse (this is the UK legal requirement) - Surname, house name/number, postcode, one telephone number

We will only stamp the info you provide e.g. if you don't wish your postcode/ house name to be on the tag but would prefer two telephone numbers that's fine please enter it into the personalisation section. Please be as concise as possible as space is very limited. 
 
Due to the nature of hand stamping sometimes it may be visible from the reverse. This is completely normal. Brass and aluminum are hard wearing but can be prone to scratches, tarnishing and marks over time so please bear this in mind if your pet is a keen explorer on their walks! 
 
Each tag comes with a split ring to attach it to your pets collar, please note this is not to be used for attaching the lead to. 
 
Aluminum is a great light weight metal making it perfect for dog/ cat/ puppy tags. It is however a soft metal which is prone to dents, marks and bending. If your pet is extra bouncy or the tag is likely to rub on their collar we recommend that you have a brass tag instead as it is heard wearing. 
 
Brass is a harder wearing metal compared to aluminum but is slightly heavier. It can be prone to tarnishing and marks but is easily re-shined with some wire wool or high grade sand paper making it a fantastic durable metal for dog tags.
